Firstly, a big thank you to all of you who came down to support us at The Rydal Arms, on Friday 28th October – this was our first live show after a much-needed, month long break! It has to be said, it’s good to be back!
Our next show (and potentially last of the year) is at The Talking Heads on Friday 4th November. We will be headlining with 4 other great bands also on the bill; Spindlefish, Kitty, A Formal Horse and Jack Howson. If that wasn’t great enough already, maybe now would be a good time to mention that this is a totally FREE ENTRY show, put on by good friend Meg Parkinson for her 18th birthday! Whatever your reasons, we would all love it for you to come down and help celebrate with us – all are welcome!
Now time for some not-so-good news; unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to pull out of the Russian mini tour we had scheduled this month with Ken; here’s his official statement…
“My dear friends and fans in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
I am very sorry to tell you that we have to cancel the shows that were planned for November 10th and 12th!
We chose the wrong partner for what was supposed to be a short tour in Russia but they broke the contract in so many ways, it became impossible to do even the two shows they could confirm.
You all know I have NEVER cancelled a show there before and I am really sad to do it now, but I know you will understand and that I will see you all next time!
With much love,
On a brighter note, we could have some very exciting events taking place this month that we will tell you about in due course – for now though we will have to leave you hanging in suspense…
